Getting started
A cloud video management system that connects your existing IP cameras, HD analogue cameras, DVRs and NVRs to a secure cloud platform, so every site is monitored, recorded and searchable from one dashboard, without replacing the cameras you already own.
No. The Edge Platform bridges your existing DVR, NVR or IP cameras to the cloud. Most deployments keep the hardware you already have and add cloud recording, remote access and multi-site monitoring on top.
For an existing camera installation, most sites go live in under a day: no port forwarding, no public IP, no complex network configuration. New camera installations depend on cabling and site size; our partners handle it end to end.
Yes, that's the core of the platform. Whether it's one site or hundreds, every location appears in the same dashboard with per-branch grouping, health status and role-based permissions.
Cloud recording & retention
Yes. Hybrid recording keeps footage on your local DVR/NVR while EarlyVigil syncs a secure backup to the cloud, so you get everyday local performance plus protection if the recorder fails, is stolen or is damaged.
Yes. Sites can run in local-first mode where recording stays on the edge device. Cloud sync is enabled per site and per plan whenever you want it.
If cloud or hybrid recording is configured, footage already synced to the cloud remains available even if the local recorder is damaged, stolen or fails. This is the main reason businesses move to EarlyVigil after a DVR incident.
Flexible cloud retention from 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days, plus custom enterprise retention for compliance-driven businesses. See the pricing page for what's included at each tier.
Around 1–2 Mbps upload per camera for smooth cloud sync at default settings. The edge device uses adaptive bitrate so it works even on modest broadband or 4G, and buffers locally if the connection drops.
Compatibility
Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Uniview, Axis, Hanwha Vision, Bosch, Honeywell, TVT, Tiandy and other ONVIF-compliant devices. See the full compatibility page or ask us to verify your specific model.
Yes, including Profile S and Profile T devices. Because ONVIF implementations vary by manufacturer and firmware, we recommend a quick compatibility check before deployment, our team can do this for you.
Security & access
Yes. Video is protected with encrypted transmission from camera to cloud and encrypted storage at rest, alongside secure device authentication and role-based access control.
Yes. Assign permissions by branch, camera and role: owners, regional managers, guards, installers and customers can each see exactly what they're authorized to see, with every action recorded in an audit log.
Pricing & support
Yes. Camera count, retention period and user seats can all be scaled up as your business grows. See current tiers on the pricing page or talk to sales about a custom enterprise plan.
Phone, email and WhatsApp support during business hours, plus remote diagnostics on your site's health. Enterprise plans include priority response and a dedicated contact.
